GPMC, in collaboration with companies all around Europe, developed a comprehensive approach to the circular economy of carbon fiber.

Goal of the project was to select the best partners to create a linear processing chain able to recycle carbon fiber from different sources and to reintroduce the final product into the market.

The final product is an organosheet made of 100% recycled carbon fiber with thermoplastic resin already mixed inside, ready to be used by part producers. The product is available also as a thermoset impregnated mat.

The R&D project was presented at the GoCarbon conference in April 2021.
